Turnouts are technically complex track components that cannot be adapted freely to adjacent structures. As a result, the design of the turnout sleeper must largely conform to the turnout geometry itself. RAILONE has mastered these adaptation processes and possesses the expertise required to manufacture a wide variety of turnout sleepers efficiently and to consistently high quality standards.
A major milestone in this development was achieved in 2019 with the commissioning of RAILONE’s latest turnout sleeper production plant in Schwandorf. Here, turnout sleepers are manufactured using highly automated and digitalised production processes, delivering levels of productivity and quality that are unparalleled worldwide.
