Concrete sleepers in ballasted track form the foundation of track construction, both in Germany and internationally. Conventional ballasted track fully meets the requirements of many applications and offers advantages in terms of overall system costs when upgrading existing lines.

Concrete sleepers can be installed flexibly and cost-effectively while rail traffic continues to operate, allowing services to be partially maintained during the construction phase.
