GETRAC® A3 for Easy Installation in Winter Conditions
For the renewal of the track superstructure on the Hohenthurm–Peissen section, RAILONE supplied the GETRAC® A3 ballastless track system between December 2016 and April 2017.
The track superstructure on the Hohenthurm–Peissen section was completely renewed for the new Munich–Nuremberg–Halle/Leipzig–Berlin Long Distance connection (VDE 8), allowing the line to enter service in time for the 2017 Reformation anniversary. Despite the tight schedule and winter conditions, the GETRAC® A3 system proved reliable and straightforward to install even at sub-zero temperatures. RAILONE supplied approximately 14,500 GETRAC® A3 sleepers, along with additional solutions including RHEDA 2000® components and sleepers for ballasted track.
