RHEDA 2000® represents the latest stage in the evolution of a ballastless track system that has been successfully deployed worldwide and continuously refined since 1972. It combines maximum safety and outstanding ride comfort with exceptional cost-effectiveness throughout the entire life cycle of a high-speed rail line.

As a result, RHEDA 2000® has become one of the most widely used ballastless track systems in the world and is used by major high-speed train operators, including TGV/Thalys, ICE, Talgo and Shinkansen.

The RHEDA 2000® ballastless track system is available for both track and turnout applications.

RHEDA 2000® WITHOUT CONTINUOUS REINFORCEMENT

The Next Technological Step: Ballastless Track Without Continuous Reinforcement

The Next Technological Step: Ballastless Track Without Continuous Reinforcement

The new ballastless track system without continuous reinforcement represents another advanced system solution.

Its design and operating principle reflect the latest state of the art in track construction. Unlike the previous RHEDA 2000® system, however, it does not require continuous reinforcement.

Eliminating the reinforcement offers several advantages: shorter construction times, lower costs and reduced impact on signalling systems and grounding.

This makes the system particularly suitable for regions such as France, Spain and Asia, where the UM71 track circuit system is used.
