RHEDA 2000®: PROVEN TECHNOLOGY FOR HIGH-SPEED RAIL
RHEDA 2000® represents decades of experience in the development and implementation of high-performance ballastless track systems. This technology combines a high level of safety and ride comfort with cost-effective operation throughout the entire life cycle and is firmly established on high-speed rail lines worldwide. For maximum flexibility, RHEDA 2000® is available for both track and turnout applications.
Rheda 2000®THE PRECAST BALLASTLESS TRACK VERSION OF THE PROVEN RHEDA 2000® SYSTEM
RHEDA 2000® represents the latest stage in the evolution of a ballastless track system that has been successfully deployed worldwide and continuously refined since 1972. It combines maximum safety and outstanding ride comfort with exceptional cost-effectiveness throughout the entire life cycle of a high-speed rail line.
As a result, RHEDA 2000® has become one of the most widely used ballastless track systems in the world and is used by major high-speed train operators, including TGV/Thalys, ICE, Talgo and Shinkansen.
The RHEDA 2000® ballastless track system is available for both track and turnout applications.
RHEDA 2000® WITHOUT CONTINUOUS REINFORCEMENT
The Next Technological Step: Ballastless Track Without Continuous Reinforcement
The Next Technological Step: Ballastless Track Without Continuous Reinforcement
The new ballastless track system without continuous reinforcement represents another advanced system solution.
Its design and operating principle reflect the latest state of the art in track construction. Unlike the previous RHEDA 2000® system, however, it does not require continuous reinforcement.
Eliminating the reinforcement offers several advantages: shorter construction times, lower costs and reduced impact on signalling systems and grounding.
This makes the system particularly suitable for regions such as France, Spain and Asia, where the UM71 track circuit system is used.
Maximum cost-effectiveness and reliability through the use of concrete sleepers as high-quality precast concrete components in the critical rail support area
Highly precise track geometry through the use of precast concrete sleepers
High adaptability to all types and designs of substructure through the use of cast-in-place concrete for the track slab
High reliability thanks to advanced track slab concrete technology suitable for a wide range of climatic conditions and concrete standards
Flexible, high-performance installation technology based on simple, reproducible installation steps that can be performed either manually or automatically
High local added value through local manufacturing opportunities
