TBS/LIS: Widely Used in Urban Transit Across Germany
Since 2006, approximately 1,800 km of TBS/LIS concrete sleepers for Urban Transit have been installed in Germany.
Since 1990, large numbers of TBS/LIS Urban Transit sleepers have been supplied and installed in the track systems of numerous German public transport operators, including those in Berlin, Munich, Leipzig and Cologne. Since 2006 alone, approximately 700,000 sleepers have been installed, equivalent to a total track length of more than 1,800 km.
