In April 2018, following a ten-month construction phase, we opened a new concrete sleeper plant in Aschaffenburg, Bavaria.
This additional production site in Germany represents an important expansion of our manufacturing network. The plant supplies the German railway market with high-quality products manufactured using an extensively automated carousel-based late-demoulding system. These include the B70 sleeper, which is widely used in Germany, as well as numerous other track sleeper types for Urban Transit and Long Distance and Freight Transport in Germany and across Europe.

The plant provides almost 50 jobs in production and administration
Two loading tracks capable of accommodating complete freight trains, with 20 to 22 wagons per train, have been installed on the site
The plant’s product portfolio ranges from sleepers for Urban Transit and Long Distance and Freight Transport in the German railway market to solutions for international rail infrastructure projects
State-of-the-art production technology and a carefully designed production building ensure efficient use of the 35,000 m² site
